Rostering
For clients who do not have fixed rosters we strongly recommend you cost your weekly rosters. What we can do:
- We will visit your store to discuss your business and look at staffing requirements throughout the week. We establish a target roster in both hours and cost. The target cost should be within a recommended percentage of net sales.
- Every Monday/Tuesday you submit your roster in an Excel file, which we provide as a template.
- We will cost your roster and return three key reports:
- The wall roster.
- Roster mapping: showing number of staff rostered and the target roster per ½ hour throughout the week.
- A costing report: showing the cost per employee, total cost vs. target, total cost vs. estimated net sales and number of employees rostered each day by the hour.
- We will also send our summary report noting points we feel are worth highlighting.
- Finally we compare your roster to the actual payroll cost.
